Top Hats and Canes are here!

Come to the SF Free Folk Festival at noon on Saturday June 25 to don a top hat and grab a cane, and dance like Fred Astaire!! Well, almost... The Beginning Tap workshop is accessible to all. Natasha will teach a complete routine, with the QCJB accompanying the class. In true spirit of the QCJB, we encourage lots of props, smiles and fun! Tap shoes are not required. Vague sense of rhythm helpful, but also not required. Saturday, June 25, 2011 San Francisco Free Folk Festival  Presidio Middle School 450-30th Ave. at Geary, San Francisco 12:00PM: Beginning Tap Dancing Workshop! Yes, this for real beginners! All ages and footwear welcome! Bring your tap shoes, top hats and canes, if you have them. Come and learn a complete tap routine, with the Quake City Jug Band backing you up! Join us to perform it  performance two hours later... 3-4PM: Peformance! Quake City Jug Band featuring Kerry Parker performance on the Choir room stage 4-5PM: Jug Band Stomp dance workshop QCJB will be providing backup music for this workshop! Saturday, July 23, 2011 Old Time Music Festival  Genoa, Nevada This is a fabulous festival is the happenin-est little town in Nevada! And it's FREE. Come and hear Miss Lonely Hearts (or favorite Winters/Davis area band!), Chris Bayer's Large Bills Accepted, and more!
