Le Bateau Ivre this Weds 9/12

Join us this Wednesday for our return to our favorite French restaurant, with the best tap dancing floor in the East Bay... Wednesday, September 12, 2012 Le Bateau Ivre featuring the ever-talented John Bidwell on dobro & lap steel! After extended legal battles (negotiated at Camp Stand the Silence at Strawberry Music Festival last weekend), we managed to get John for this gig on loan from his "home band" Don't Look Back. Whew. It'll be worth it, folks. John brings a new flavor to our juggy-swing mayhem. And when we are lucky, he even chimes in on a vocal or two. http://www.lebateauivre.net/ 2629 Telegraph Ave. Berkeley, CA Berkeley CA 7-9PM  no cover       We've got loads of upcoming gigs---  check out the "Where we are playing" link at the right..."

We did this last year, and it was a load of fun! Dance teachers help get dancers off on the right foot (so to speak). We'll probablyl head on over to Bebo and Reebo's Jug Band Jam right afterwards! John will also be giving his chart reading workshop and Myron will join Tom Murray to give a Jammin on the Blues workshop.   The Barbary Ghosts , Jeanie & Chuck , Melody Walker , and many more of our favorite performers will be there!
